We all have dreams in life, but often times, we are reluctant to follow them through. After his Gap year travel from Costa Rica, to and through Ecuador, in Latin America, the Author, Bright Geofrey Kata, decides its time to head back home and make a difference within his community. He starts an Eco Village, Eco Hub Africa based around the principles of sustainability and empowering young creatives. What he thought would be a smooth ride, turns out to be a 3 year thrill of ups and downs, hosting over 50 international volunteers from different countries all around the world, embarking on unplanned journeys like to the South in Rwanda, and networking without limitations, at summits like Africa NOW and Youth Connekt. Through his struggle to create opportunities for the youth, he learns that more than anything, the need to have a solid team behind every business venture can never be overlooked, and often times, its more valuable than the venture capital/Startup funds.
